Situation with the crime looks pretty misty. Swiss tourist (Pierre Alain Oberson) who enjoyed new girlfriend’s company (while his wife and two kids were in resort) on his yacht 500m away from shore spotted a caucasian man (who had a plastic bag) in diving suit in water and invited him aboard. After one hour drinking (?) of beer and coffee guest opened his bag, extracted self-made gun, pointed the gun onto yacht’s owner and ordered woman to tie up Mr. Oberson. At this point Mr. Oberson (who is 50 years old) charged a robber and hit him twice with boat hook. Robber shot Mr. Oberson in left shoulder and felt into water there he died and was recovered by police 70m away from yacht. Doctors at local hospital says that the cause of death was blood loss from the wound to his wrist (another bad wound was in left eye but it wasn’t critical). Pierre Alain Oberson was rushed to a hospital.

Police recovered strange self-made gun from sea bed near crime scene and trying to connect dead diver with robbery in Karon, Phuket (420,000 baht stolen) in last June (however police said dead man doesn’t fit the description of bank robber). Also police contacting Interpol in hope to identify criminal (who didn’t carry any ID) by his weapon’s construction.
